Celebrating 10 years of Pennsylvania Agricultural Surplus System (PASS)!!

Since 2016, PASS has delivered 38.3 million pounds of food, translating to more than 31.7 million meals for 7.9 million households across the commonwealth.

PASS has become an essential bridge between Pennsylvania's agricultural community and the families who need support most. Every year, it channels millions of pounds of fresh, locally grown food to communities in every corner of the state while ensuring the farmers and processors who make it possible receive fair compensation for their contributions.

What an incredible day at Good Food, Strong Community!

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared conversations, asked questions, and helped make the event such a success. It was inspiring to see so many people come together (despite the weather!) around food, community, health, and local action.

We loved meeting everyone and hearing your ideas, stories, and enthusiasm for building a stronger, healthier Adams County together.

A special thank you to Chef Jason from for the amazing mushroom bruschetta that kept everyone coming back for more 🍄✨ and to SCCAP, Adams County Office for Aging, Inc. , and Penn State Extension of Adams County for spending the day talking with community members about the important services and support they provide.

We’re also grateful to Pat LaMarche for sharing her experiences through Humble Pie and helping spark meaningful conversations around food and community.

Last but not least, thank you to our host and partner, Adams County Farmers Market for providing us space to host our event and being awesome collaborators!!

Thank you to everyone for making the day so memorable. The energy, interest, and enthusiasm reminded us exactly why this work matters.

Until next time… keep supporting local food, local farms, and each other. 🌱✨
