It’s calla time! But the big news is that a BEAR ran through the field as we were picking flowers! Me, Olivia Swift, Marilyn Cederoth and dogs and kids all standing there with our mouths hanging open till the dogs took off after it and then: mayhem!!! A pretty little nest that found up in the shed rafters. We plucked out the interloper cowbird egg. I think it might be an eastern Phoebe but maybe just a tree swallow. Any ideas?

I turned the sprinkler on over the peach tree to try and save them through the freezing night. I may have overdone it. 😂
