Hope Hill Farm RC Fiesta Blend is a long doe with an excellent level topline, lovely brisket extension, and beautiful feet and legs.

Fiesta is sired by Cravens Creek RJ Rock Candy and out of Hope Hill Farm Cinco De Mayo GEVG85 (FF), who scored an impressive 42 in Body Depth and 37 in Dairyness. She also boasts a beautiful foreudder and excellent production, two qualities I am especially hopeful Fiesta will inherit and pass on to her daughters.

Bella Rossa Estate Ragnarok complements her with his own impressive strengths. Ragnar is long and level with a nice front end, excellent width between the hocks, and desirable rear leg angulation.
His pedigree brings additional quality, being sired by Elite Agape’s Prize Saint Dismus ++*B and out of 7R Sisters RL Lagertha. His sire Saint is known for increasing production, making him an exciting influence in this pedigree. His dam Lagertha was specifically chosen as the dam of my herdsire for her excellent teat placement and rear udder arch.

The goal with this pairing is to improve width between the hocks while maintaining the excellent front ends and level toplines both animals bring to the table. I'm also hopeful that Fiesta Blend will carry forward the excellent foreudder and production of her dam, while Saint Dismus's influence adds further potential for productive offspring.

Overall, I'm hoping these two complement each other beautifully, combining Fiesta Blend's length, dairy character, and structural correctness with Ragnarok's width, strong front end, and desirable rear leg angulation, while building on the productive genetics and udder qualities in both pedigrees.

I'm excited to see what this pairing produces in 2027! ❤️

First up for our 2027 pairings is a breeding I’m really excited about!

Fairland Farm OL Fancy Pants is an extremely elegant dairy doe who is long and level with a very nice front end. She brings the dairyness and length that I really appreciate, making her an exciting foundation for this cross.

Taylor Ridge Ace in the Hole complements her with a very different set of strengths. Ace is powerful, deep and wide, with a nice front end, level topline, and excellent dairy strength.

There is also a lot of strength behind Ace. His dam, GCH Taylor Ridge Fusion Aruba EEEE93, scored E or V in nearly every category, with notable scores of:

🌙✨ 2027 Kidding Schedule ✨🌙

It’s time to share our tentative 2027 kidding schedule!

There have been a few changes to the schedule as breeding season has gotten underway, so here’s where things currently stand!

This year includes a mix of Nigerian, F1 Mini LaMancha, and experimental pairings, and I’m excited to see what these breedings bring.

I’ll be doing individual introduction posts for each pairing, where I’ll go more in-depth on the goats involved, their pedigrees, and what I’m hoping to see from each breeding.

For now, here’s the current schedule!
This is a tentative schedule and may change as breeding season continues. Now we wait for those positive pregnancy checks and, eventually, those 2027 babies!

As our breeding season approaches, we've made the decision to lease an exceptional buck for our earliest planned breeding while allowing our homegrown junior herd sire additional time to mature. Every goat develops at its own pace, and we believe giving young bucks the time they need is the best decision for their long-term success.
