🌞 Happy Friday and good morning!

I’m officially on summer break! We’ve been busy over the last couple of months planting, weeding, and harvesting here on the farm.

I know many of you have been eagerly waiting for our beautiful, delicious strawberries. Unfortunately, this season has not turned out as we had hoped. Many of you have called or stopped by the farm, and I truly appreciate your understanding as we navigate a challenging strawberry season. We have picked a few quarts, but production has been much lower than expected.

I apologize for not being able to provide the sweet, homegrown Ohio strawberries that so many of you look forward to each year.

As of Friday, June 5, we currently have the following available:

Green onions
Kale
🥬 Leaf lettuce
🥬 Romaine lettuce heads
🥒 Cucumbers
🫜Radishes
🥚 Brown eggs

I want to sincerely thank all of our customers for your continued support. Thank you for supporting our small but growing family farm we truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Happy Tuesday everyone! 🌤️

We wanted to give everyone an update.

🍓The strawberry plants are slow and are showing limited supply. Unfortunately, all the local produce vendors are having lower production of berries this year…. Likely due to the extreme cold temps this winter.
We are getting quarts picked but haven’t had enough to make a post before selling out. We are very appreciative of all the messages and calls asking about availability!! We truly wish we could please everyone with an abundance of strawberries but it is not looking like a feasible option this year. 🍓
we will be at the Bowling Green Farmers Market tomorrow 6/3/26 from 4-7pm with a limited number of quarts.
We are hoping to pick again Thursday and Friday before the rain Saturday. If we have enough quarts in the cooler we will make a post about availability 🍓

BUT on a positive note our other produce is coming along nicely! 🥬🥒🫜🙂

We have the following available fresh off the farm:
Head lettuce
Leaf lettuce
Cucumbers - limited
Radishes
Green onions
Kale
Mojito mint
Farm fresh brown eggs

Coming soon: (July - October ish)
🍅🥦🫛🌶️🫑🍆🧅
Slicing tomatoes
Grape tomatoes
Cherry tomatoes
Peas
Green beans
Brussels sprouts
Bell Peppers
Jalapeno
Banana peppers
Zucchini
Squash
Egg plant
Broccoli

🍓Happy Thursday! 🍓

Strawberries are getting close! We’ve picked a few quarts over the past couple of days, but not enough yet to make a full post about them. They are so close though, so hopefully by Saturday we’ll have enough to share. Keep your eyes peeled for that post! 👀

Tomatoes are looking great too! It won’t be long before you can enjoy a true delicious Ohio tomato! 🍅

Peas are starting to put pods on, and it won’t be much longer before they’re ready either. 🫛

What I will have available for Friday for sure:

Radishes 🫜 $2.00/bunch
Leaf lettuce 🥬 $3.50/bag
Head lettuce 🥬 $3.50/head
Green onions🧅 $2.00/bunch

This is fresh produce grown right here on the farm.

Also, if I missed your phone call throughout the day, I apologize. I am still teaching Vo Ag at Woodmore, so our weekday hours until school is out are 3–6 PM. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. If you leave a message, I will call you back.

As always, thank you for supporting our small family farm! ❤️

Farm update! 🌱

Spring is in full swing around here! We’ve been busy getting our 2nd and 3rd plantings of tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, radishes, peas, green beans, and green onions in the ground, along with finishing up planting all of the large onions last week.

We’re also harvesting green onions, radishes, and leaf lettuce already, collecting farm fresh eggs, cucumbers are very close, AND the 🍓STRAWBERRIES are getting even closer! 🍓

Between watering, weeding, tying up and trimming tomatoes, and now preparing the ground for row crops, it’s been a very busy spring already, but we’re excited for the season ahead! Stay tuned for updates!
