Fish food anybody? It’s not just any ordinary fish food either, it’s a specialty feed that you can’t buy just anywhere. It’s a 5/32” size pellet that I get made at Rangen for the small fish and small mouth fish like the bluegill perch who have a small mouth. It’s also a high protein feed at 35%. Fishermen-Fisherwomen, Starting Thursday morning April 6, we should be fully stocked with shiners for both crappie and bass, rosie red minnows, goggleye and hybrid perch for the river fishers, as well as most stuff for pond stockings. We will be open Thursday morning until noon, Good Friday all day, Saturday until 3 and closed Easter Sunday. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Easter! Larry Spitzenberger.

Occasionally I get help from the landowners when I deliver fish and from time to time, the landowners put their kids or grandkids on the truck so they can see. But on this particular delivery, the landowners wasn’t at home and ranch hands decided they would come and see what was going on. I always love it when someone comes to help! Larry Spitzenberger

Lexington, Thorndale, McDade, Elgin, Coupeland, Hitto, Georegtown, Liberty Hill, Bertram, Ledbetter, Carmine, Burton, Brenham, Bellville, Sealy, Bastrop, Rockney, Red Rock, Luling. We currently have plenty of humpback bluecat 5-11”, channel cats, bluegill, red ear, fatheads, bass, crappie,shiner minnows, goldfish and koi.
