It’s bee day!!! Picking up two nucleus hives today! I put together the hive bodies last night and prepared the site so I can come home with them and install them rather quickly. This time with pickup I’m bringing my bee jacket and they are riding in the back of the truck. There is a good reason for this if you know the adventure I had a few years ago picking up a package of bees and having it open in the car while driving home.
