Today Bea went home to walk in heaven's garden. She blessed so many with her flowers and produce, but more than that with her kindness and care for whoever dropped by. I love you mom forever. ❤️

I want to exspress to all those who have been faithful customers and friends of Bea's Flowers of what a blessing and a privilege it has been to share flowers, produce and conversations with you all. Mom Bea is 89 years young and is ready for a well deserved rest. Your support in buying our flowers has sent both my mom and myself to a wonderful village in Guatemala where we were able to come along side an organization that gives an opportunity to give an impoverished people a way to help themselves. We were also able to help build a home for a world vision family again through
l profit of the flowers that purchased at our stand. I also want to thank those who donated items and $ to help our homeless friends on the streets of Tacoma. Knowing the heart of the community has been such an encouragement to me and my mom, thank you is just not enough to express how we feel. Louie still will have the flower garden open for picking and if you need flower arrangements for special occasions I am still available. Hey Bea's Flowers friends, I know you all haven't heard from us in awhile , we have slowed down quite a bit this past year. Mom (Bea) has hit the age of 87 years young and I have been caring for my husband who is disabled. Needless to say with all the crazy stuff happening and our physical abilities limited, not sure what we will have. But that is the life of a gardener, each year is different, we plant with hope that the seeds we plant will bring a good harvest but only the Lord knows for sure. Our job is to plant and care no matter what the outcome. So that is what we will do and that is what you should do. It is therapeutic, I will post if we open. Stay well and plant hope.Blessings my friends.

Hi Beas flowers friends, hope your summer is going well. Although we are not as active as we used to be we are still in operation. Mom hit the 87 years young mark and with myself care provider for my husband I haven't quite had the time or energy to spend in the garden that I would like . That being said we still have the u-pick and plenty zucchini and a few other items as they come in. We also have had an explosion of Muscovy ducks! All juveniles, they are great egg layers, and will take care of any slug problem you may have. They are very friendly and curious and make great pets. $5 each. Hope you have a Happy summer and make sure you drop by and pick a bouquet of flowers.

We wanted to thank everyone who came out to our farm yesterday. Thank you for supporting us and other local farmers! A big thank you to Ria Davis, Dawn Strope, Carla Cameron and Ben Motonaga for Volunteering their time. And to all of our vendors who brought their personal artistic collections. We love you all!
