GSP Craft Brewing - Our Story
My wife and I have been home brewers for 30+ years. My background is in engineering and technology. My career in the corporate environment ended abruptly a few years ago. We decided that we would attempt to brew commercially in our shop at our rural residence. We have been licensed since 2013. We will be in production in 2018. We elected early on to build our own bre
wery from concept to completion, and not purchase a pre-designed, pre-fabricated brewery. In opposition to most craft breweries, our primary focus has remained on the production of the brewery instead of beer production. We fundamentally believe that an exceptional brewery and a complete understanding of relative brewing processes are essential prerequisites to exceptional beer. I have meticulously studied successful microbrewery designs, equipment, and operations and have made every attempt to incorporate the best of what I have learned into a precisely scaled nanobrewery. We have spared no expense and expended inordinate time and resources in our pursuit of excellence. We have no partners, owe no lenders, and sourced no crowdfunding. We have a substantial personal investment and have sacrificed much. We have strived to create and develop a hand built, methodically engineered, technologically advanced, unique and exceedingly efficient brewery and brewing processes that allow us to create the best handcrafted beer that we possibly can from a truly handcrafted brewery.
