This is the official US page for Amaro Montenegro. Montenegro is the traditional Italian Amaro. Its heritage extends back to the journeys of Stanislao Cobianchi who gathered 40 exotic herbs and spices during his world travels. He created a unique recipe that would become a secret for a hundred years, and is still only known by a few. The name of this liqueur pays homage to the second quee

n of Italy, Princess Helen of Montenegro on occasion of her marriage to Victor Emmanuell III. It stands out today among brands that are relative newcomers to the tradition of amaro. Meet Our Vero Bartender US Winner!
We’re thrilled to announce Jennifer Yim from Las Vegas as our official Vero Bartender US Champion 2025! You can catch her behind the bar at The Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Her winning cocktail, “Intuition: The Cocktail of Feelings”, is a sensory journey inspired by ‘proprioception’ — the body’s ability to sense and feel flavors, textures, and experiences. Drawing from her childhood memories of her mother’s comforting black sesame soybean noodle soup, Jennifer’s creation blends nostalgia with innovation.

•0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice

With this winter’s chill really setting in, there’s nothing like a warm Montenegro Hot Toddy to bring a little comfort. 🍯🥃

The perfect blend of spice and smoothness to help you unwind and embrace the season. Stay warm, friends.

Ingredients:
1 ounce Amaro Montenegro
1 ounce Bourbon
1 dash Angostura Bitters
2 ounces water
¼ ounce cinnamon syrup
¼ ounce lemon juice

1.)In a saucepan, combine all ingredients excluding cinnamon syrup and lemon juice, and heat to near boiling.
2.)In a mug, add the cinnamon syrup and lemon juice, then pour heated mixture into the mug.
3.) Garnish with a fresh cinnamon stick
