What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday, Lisa captured this exquisite monarch butterfly flittering around a patch of zinnias. Today, the little fellow is hiding under foliage somewhere, protecting its delicate wings from the rains of Isisasisisasisssias.

Tired of marigold pictures yet? I'm just so happy that after 3 years of trying, this experiment finally took shape. So I keep taking archival shots to document the journey.

Also, so far so good on the lack of deer rub in the fields with marigolds. Still a ways to go but oh what fun the daily inspection is!
