The two week long historical Bavarian festival of Oktoberfest is among us. There are many interpretations nowadays of how to celebrate, including copious amounts of large steins of beer, carnival games and candied apples. The spirit of the holiday is defined as gemütlichkeit, or "geniality" and is something we try to capture here in our biergarten. In the first few weeks we've been open, we have witnessed neighbor meeting neighbor, strangers offering to share tables and conversations started by finding something in common with one another. It's one of the goals we have set for this place and are thrilled you are already engaging in this tradition of cordiality in beer gardens. ​​​​​​​​
To honor that and the occasion, we will have a special spelt weizen and sourdough pretzels with beer cheese in the biergarten only for the next couple of weeks. In true Weiss Ferments fashion, the focus will be on the quality of consumption, not the quantity. Prost!

HELLO EVERYONE! IT IS OPENING DAY!! In true Catskill life fashion, it may storm. We are an OUTDOOR Biergarten, so if that happens, we may have to postpone the opening...but hopefully only for a couple of hours! Stay tuned for updates. Thank you for your support!

Forms can be submitted Monday thru Wednesday for pickup Friday's between 4-6pm here at the Farmhouse. Email and text orders are still good too, just reach out by Wednesday nights please.
We accept cash and card payments upon pickup.
