In April of 2021 the Beans and Greens torch was passed on to the new owners Chris Collias and Lindy Consentino. Chris and Lindy, spent the first two years armed with a great culinary team and a dedicated and hard
-working retail staff. They introduced new prepared meals and soups to the selections along, with expanding the catering aspect of the business. In addition, new exterior doors and a heating system was added allowing
Beans & Greens to be open year-round
They have also added the "Farm to Foodie" Food Truck offering a Taco Menu to include; Chicken Street Tacos, Pork Carnitas, Vegan Tacos & more. Another cool offering was the mobile Wood-Fired Pizza Oven that sits on top of an Army surplus wagon!
In the summer of 2022, they launched Jack & The Flying Bean Stalk kids fun park. They will continue to add to the park with each season.
2023 they were happy to announce the opening of Notch Biergarten by Beans & Greens. Adding an outdoor biergarten under the beautiful timber framed pavilion and updating their seating with new tables and benches. This allowed for more entertainment, such as, Comedy Shows, Dueling Pianos, Oktoberfest, and live entertainment with local artists. They were excited that the community participated and joined in the fun and look forward to offering more entertainment as they grow.
The 2024 season marked a new chapter for Beans & Greens. With the previous owners retiring to Vermont, the farm had to transition from growing all of its own produce to partnering with talented local farmers.. This change allowed Beans & Greens to showcase the very best of what each local farmer specialized in—all under one roof. By supporting our neighbors, we not only strengthened the community but also offered customers the variety of fresh, top-quality produce they've come to enjoy. Another highlight of the 2024 season was the launch of the Beans & Greens Coffee Carriage! Set in a beautifully restored horse trailer in the back parking lot, the Coffee Carriage quickly became a favorite stop for visitors. Our baristas crafted espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and drip coffee using locally roasted Mad River Coffee and a true Italian espresso machine. But it wasn’t just about the coffee—guests also enjoyed farm-fresh breakfast sandwiches, warm cider donuts, authentic New York–style bagels, and freshly baked blueberry muffins. Unique, delicious, and undeniably VERY cool, the Coffee Carriage became a must-see (and must-taste) experience in the Lakes Region. The 2024 season was one of growth, creativity, and community
and Chris & Lindy are so grateful to everyone who have supported them on the journey.
Each new year they will continue to grow the business around Family, Farm, Food & Fun. The team is extremely proud that their efforts have led to being named "Best in the Lakes" in the farmstand category for 2022 , 2023, 2024 & 2025 !
