Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for being our customer over the years. Time marches on. After 60 years in operation, we are closing our Muehlke Family Tree Farm “choose and cut” business. We’re making the transition this year from choose and cut to wholesale.

We love growing trees! We will miss the fun of meeting you and helping you to select that perfect tree. But we’re all getting older, and the wholesale process will be simpler and less time-consuming for us.

Please continue to purchase a real Christmas tree, whether from a choose and cut grower or a retail lot. Here are some dealers for your consideration:

Hi Tree Lovers!
We will be open for 5 weekends in November and December, 2023
By appointment only. You will cut your tree during your appointment.

​Please use one appointment for each tree you plan to purchase.

Our 2023 Choose & Cut dates are:

Saturday and Sunday – November 18, 19
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – November 24, 25, 26
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – December 1, 2, 3
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – December 8, 9, 10
Saturday and Sunday – December 16, 17

Hours: 9 am to 3 pm

There are twelve appointment slots per hour, or 84 each day.

There will be no tagging – only cutting. You receive a free cleanup bag or peacock feather (while they last) with every purchase. We provide a hand saw with a new blade on it. We provide sleds, carts, or tarps for moving your tree from the field. We provide free tree baling/wrapping. You tie the tree to your car. We accept cash and checks only (please make out to “R. Muehlke”). Sorry, we do not accept credit cards, debit cards, venmo or other electronic payment methods. Porta potty available. All trees are $70.00.

Sorry, no dogs allowed.

Come get a real, locally grown tree. And have a good time outside!

We will contribute $15.00 per sale to the Lakes Region Conservation Trust on behalf of any current or new members
