Bascom Hollow Farm is a family farm on 170 acres of protected forest and farmland in a secluded valley in Western Massachusetts. We raise the heritage pig breeds, Tamworth and Tamworth/Berkshire/Gloucester Old Spot crosses for their heartiness, ability to thrive outdoors on pasture, and the wonderful flavor and quality of their meat. Our pigs are humanely raised and have plenty of open pasture in

which to run and play, the freedom to graze, laze in the sun, and to live free from fear and stress. They have plenty of fresh water and are fed a mixture of grain, field vegetables and fresh pasture grass, antibiotic and hormone free. We also raise Devon cattle - a breed developed in Britain, Devons were brought to New England by the Pilgrims. Known for their versatility and grazing ability, Devons provide high quality beef. We move our cows every four to five days in a rotation through our fields to make sure they enjoy plenty of rich pasture in a stress-free environment.
