At Hillview, we feel that mixing the old with the new brings satisfaction to all. While still clinging to some of our favorite older varieties of apples (Macoun 1923, Empire, 1968, Winesap, 1800s) we are always replanting with the newest and best available to us. Notable “new” apples at the farm are cameo, Honeycrisp, Suncrisp (farmer Skeeter’s favorite), and Bumpy Mac (a highly colored and superi

or flavored Macintosh.) Add to all this, the sights, sounds, and smells of rural farm life just 20 miles from New York City, and it’s not too hard to figure out why Hillview Farms has the following that it does.

Help wanted! Are you interested in working in a fun environment in a beautiful setting? We are hiring part-time and full-time employees to work in the Market at the farm during our season (May 1 - November 1). Applicants must be reliable, friendly, and able to lift 30 lbs. Tasks include stocking produce in the Market, interacting with customers, and various tasks that help the Market run smoothly. Please drop in to fill out an application. The Market is open from 10-6 daily.

The weather might not be great now but it is going to be nice this weekend. What are your plans? How about coming to Hillview Farms and going peach picking! The peaches are ready and delicious! The cost to pick is $10 per person. Included in that price is your first pound of peaches. Hope to see you this weekend!

Come to the farm to enjoy the last of the blueberries. A $10 entrance fee per person gets you entry to pick and a pound of blueberries. We are open every day 10-5 to pick and 10-6 in the market.

Drumroll please…BLUEBERRIES are here!!!! It is now blueberry picking season at the farm. Come by and pick your own delicious, ripe blueberries. Eat them now or freeze them for later. Make blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, blueberry ice cream, or a blueberry mojito. So many ways to enjoy them. We are open every day from 10-6.
