We unloaded some new commercial heifers into our pastures this past weekend. These ladies will take a bit more time on grass before they begin their new jobs as recipients in our embryo transfer program.

Through embryo transfer we can take our donor genetics and replicate them at a much greater scale than through natural calving alone. Out of these commercial heifers we will produce cutting edge Brangus genetics that will lead our program and influence others in the years to come. They represent a big step forward in our program and we are very excited for the road ahead!

Update: Price drop to $7/lb hanging weight. 1/2 still available. She taped closer to 1600 # in the chute yesterday so we expect more finished beef than the original post. Will be likely be selling individually packaged pounds of ground beef as well after processing. Contact us for more info.

This beautiful lady will be headed to Mineola Packing Company Inc. for processing on August 10th and we will be offering 1/2 and 1/4 Beef packages for sale.

She weighs approximately 1400lb so we expect hanging weight around 750-800lb.

Pricing:
$8/lb hanging weight for Half Beef

$8.50/lb hanging weight for Quarter Beef

Maximum of 3/4 available as we will be retaining 1/4.

She is Black Brangus and has been grass fed on our pasture here in Winnsboro with supplementary feed which should increase marbling.

Here is BOLD MS FINISHED PRODUCT 103P at 5 months of age. Were are thrilled with how she’s turning out, she’s got the thickness, just the right amount of leather, and feminine phenotype we are looking for. She’s out of one of our donors and after this result we are considering flushing her to CB FINISHED PRODUCT 63L10 for a repeat breeding.
