Gold shines bright.

Our US Open Beer Championship medal has arrived.

ICYMI: We won GOLD in a NATIONAL beer competition for our Purple Reign sour ale with grape, guava and Nerds candy.

We often ask, “How Could it Be Bad?” This accolade is why we push the envelope with our brews. BJCP certified beer judges compared our beer against others nationwide and Gilroy’s own SDB rose to the top.

We’ve got raffle prizes lined up our Hahn’s Down release party Thursday night.

1. SDB swag pack with a mix pack case of beer, SDB hat, shirt, and two SDB-branded pint glasses (~$190)

2. A round of golf for two with Randy Hahn at Eagle Ridge (~$200-plus)

3. Two tickets to a Sharks game with club access and a meet and greet with Randy Hahn at the game. (~400-plus)

How to get raffle tickets:
1. Buy a beer for one ticket
2. Buy a four pack for two tickets
3. Buy à la carte for $10 each

This Thursday, Settle Down Brewery & Taproom is the spot to be, Hahn's Down.

Hahn's Down cold IPA is available on draft and in cans to-go beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. Here's a sneak peek at the label. Pick up your cans this week, while supplies last.

Made in collaboration with Bay Area hockey play-by-play legend Randy Hahn, Hahn's Down is an easy-drinking 6.5% cold IPA with a mild bitter bite and tons of flavor from Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron hops.

Swing by Thursday, have a beer, chat with Randy, vibe out to jams by SJ hockey in-game DJ Chris G, buy some raffle tix (awesome prizes to be announced soon), and have some snacks. How Could it Be Bad?
