So why is it more expensive?

Well, we're a small farm, so -Our meat is processed at a small processing facility in Columbus, Coal Valley Processing. They take care of their employees with good working conditions and process a small number of animals. (unlike the large corporate slaughter plants)

Small plants also don't make money on the waste from the animals for dog food, etc. It's actually a cost.

Our flour is processed at a small farm Stone and Sparrow -near Melvern Kansas, where everything is handled by hand in small batches.This makes the flour much more fresh (and nutrient dense) and handled with more care than the large plants. These smaller scale processors produce a much higher quality product but at a higher cost. Worth it for your health.

We're still here!

You might be asking where we've been since we haven't been too active online.

Well, we've been busy, planting corn, soybeans, taking care of cattle...

and getting our oldest son, Owen graduated from high school!
