Our next milk house hours are this afternoon (Friday) 1:30-5 pm and Saturday 9am-noon!

We have white, Chocolate, Mocha, and Strawberry milk today!

Chicken and duck eggs, too!

Lots of factors go into how much milk a cow makes: breed, individual genetics, number of lactations, feed quantity and quality, water availability and intake, stress and rest.

I just updated it this morning to include our new MOCHA flavor! I was able to make some last evening along with a fresh batch of Chocolate.

We are open 9am-noon today!

We have lots of white milk and also have Chocolate, Coffee, and Maple in the cooler!

For eggs, we have a few each of 18 packs of sm/med chicken, dozen of large chicken, and dozen duck.

Our chickens have really been enjoying the extra produce and various scraps! Chickens are omnivores and will eat most anything!

Honey is in heat and telling everyone! 🤣

In our experience, heifers have their first heat around just 9 months old! Dairy cows are usually bred to freshen the first time when they are 24-27 months old. Gestation for a cow is 9 months and a week, so first breeding would be 15-18 months of age. With our beef cows, we breed them to freshen the first time at around 3 years.
