Bunnies bunnies everywhere 🐰. The littlest litter is at the cutest age now and the last two litters are almost at processing age. All males will be processed and I'm still deciding which couple girls to retain. We sadly lost Willow a few weeks back but I have 3 of her daughters to hopefully carry on her excellent mothering skills.

100 Cornish Cross chicks arrived in the mail this morning 🐥😍. They will only be staying in this brood box a few days before they graduate to the bigger brooder we are finishing up. Then after a couple weeks in there they will head out to the chicken tractors (that we still have to build 😆) to finish out on pasture. Anyone else have a horrible habbit of acquiring livestock before you have the infrastructure for them and then scrambling to get it all done? 😅🤣

We have lost more hens to predators recently so we electrified the poultry netting and trapped a couple possums and raccoons. We hatched out a few more more replacement pullets (Beilefelder and Barred Rock) and we also weaned all the bunny babies. We ended up with 6 boy and 4 girl bunnies.

Some fun colors in these two litters. I'm not an expert in rabbit colors but it looks like a lot of the black ones will be some kind of agouti or steel because of the light colored ears and bellies. The pink ones will be white and the black ones with dark ears and bellies will be black. One bun has the cutest little stripe on his head and I have no idea what color the little tan one will be because he's changing every day!
