If you think that's a little Pomeranian puppy messing with the cows....

you'd be right! 🤦🏼‍♀️

This past spring we welcomed a little puppy into our home, mainly to give the kids a pet in the house.

She looked at me and said, "Not a chance!" 😂 She would rather be outside, running with the cows, playing in the duck pool or chasing all the barn cats. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe one day we will get this right, but for now, she's the new cattle dog on this farm! 😂

The girls and I decided to take a break from fence building and finish working on the large area between the houses.

We started this project at the beginning of summer but never finished it because I figured a new fence for the goats was more important.

Today we finished spreading out the soil, planting grass seed and spreading flower seeds that will hopefully grow before it gets too cold.

This project is far from done but it's going to take more than a summer to complete. I can't wait to see it finished! Stay tuned! ❤️

If you were wondering why we were digging holes in the dark yesterday, here's why. 😅

We are building a new fence and adding more space for my 3 goats and ducks.

Sadly some of the holes are not in line with the other ones so they will have to be moved. I guess that's what we get for trying to do it in the dark. 🤷🏼‍♀️

One of my momma ducks also lost 2 of her babies into one of the holes last night, thankfully they are still alive and back with momma this morning. ❤️
