Hi everyone I wanted to give an update on the broilers. I am going to be processing them over the weekend and they are going to range from 4.5 to 5 lbs. I am charging $3 per lb. Let me know if you are interested. Also I will not be raising pigs this year. Unfortunately it is to late in the season. Please like and share this so I can reach as many people as possible.

Hello from Windy Acres Pork & Poultry,

I am going to be raising hogs again this year. I will be charging $3.50 per lb. hanging weight with a $100 depost due when you reserve your pig. I will take my payment after the hanging weight is determined and your $100 deposit will be subtracted from that price. You will pay Ebels at that time also. They charge a $50 slaughter fee plus $0.58 per lb hanging weight for processing. Deboning and smoking hams and having sausage links made cost extra. I suggest calling them and asking what they charge. You can pay me by check, cash, and PayPal. You can pay Ebels over the phone or in person when you pick up your pork.

There is a copy of their cut sheet attached below that you will need to download and fill out. If you are new to this like I was last year and you have any questions about filling it out you can get ahold of me or call Ebels Meat Market at (231) 826-3333 and they will be able to answer any questions you have and will be able to help you fill out the cut sheet if need.

Hi everybody I am going to be raising meat chickens for the first time this year. They will be ready around mid to late June. I am lowering the price per lb for my pigs from $3.75 a lb to $2.75 because of the short notice. I know it can be hard to come up with that kind of money in such a short amount of time. I will also not be offering individual cuts or bundles. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Also if it is too far or you are unable to drive all the way to Ebel’s Meat Market to pick up your pig I can pick it up and transport it for you.

I have seven pigs for sale as a whole or half and for anyone who would like individual cuts those will also be available as well as bundles, but in a limited supply.

I am charging $2.75 per lb. plus a processing fee which will be about $175 give or take depending on the hanging weight of the pig and how you want it processed. That will be paid to Ebel’s Meat Market. Smoking will cost an extra $1.25 per lb and they charge $50 plus $0.58 per lb hanging weight for processing. I am taking them to Ebel’s Meat Market in Falmouth to be processed on January 26th. I will provide cut sheets for you to fill out. I put a link below to the cut sheet. I will need them back before the 26th when I take the pigs to be processed. You will pay Ebels separately from me when you pick up your meat from them. It takes about 3 weeks to be processed.

If you aren’t sure you will be able to afford a whole or half pig but would like the savings you can always get together with family and friends to split the cost because it will be cheaper than individual cuts or bundles.
