Hello from Windy Acres Pork & Poultry,
I am going to be raising hogs again this year. I will be charging $3.50 per lb. hanging weight with a $100 depost due when you reserve your pig. I will take my payment after the hanging weight is determined and your $100 deposit will be subtracted from that price. You will pay Ebels at that time also. They charge a $50 slaughter fee plus $0.58 per lb hanging weight for processing. Deboning and smoking hams and having sausage links made cost extra. I suggest calling them and asking what they charge. You can pay me by check, cash, and PayPal. You can pay Ebels over the phone or in person when you pick up your pork.
There is a copy of their cut sheet attached below that you will need to download and fill out. If you are new to this like I was last year and you have any questions about filling it out you can get ahold of me or call Ebels Meat Market at (231) 826-3333 and they will be able to answer any questions you have and will be able to help you fill out the cut sheet if need.
