Love this solar grazing life. Had a really great day rotating sheep to fresh solar sites. Arlo and Lee are great farm help and we really enjoy that this is a family affair.

Pumpkin planting looked a little different this year but the boys still put in some hard work rolling the pumpkin patch. Looking forward to another fantastic pumpkin season!

Community-scale solar farms are booming in Illinois thanks to state incentives.

Tin Can Farms was blessed to be part of the Pivot Energy Sheep Release day at a site we graze in Dunlap. Such a great event and we are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Pivot Energy.

Several dozen sheep were released Wednesday morning onto the Pivot Energy Solar Farm in Dunlap to graze the property and keep tall vegetation down.

We are so excited for new and expanding solar grazing opportunities.

Solar grazing has allowed our small farm to flourish all while keeping this land in agricultural production and improving soil health.

Bryant was able to take our bottle lamb to Arlo and Lee’s classrooms. The students loved meeting Otis and learning about sheep. ♥️
