Free Ham for Customers: GEPB, TVA Partner for Holiday Giveaway

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Electric Plant Board (GEPB), in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), is offering a Free Ham for Customers as part of TVA’s annual Holiday Ham Drop initiative, helping local families stretch their holiday meal budgets this Christmas season.

The giveaway is intended to thank GEPB customers and provide seasonal assistance through TVA’s regional community-support program. GEPB officials said the effort reflects the utility’s commitment to serving the community beyond delivering reliable electric service.

The free ham distribution will take place Tuesday, Dec. 23, beginning at 9 a.m., at First Christian Church of Glasgow, 1100 N. Race Street, and will continue while supplies last.

To receive a ham, participants must be current GEPB electric customers and are asked to present a recent electric bill along with a photo ID showing a matching service address.

TVA’s Holiday Ham Drop partners with local power companies across the region each year to distribute thousands of hams to customers throughout the Tennessee Valley.

GEPB officials thanked TVA and community partners for helping make the holiday season brighter for Glasgow-area customers and families
