Anfossi Acres

Anfossi Acres Momma-managed farm in Kentucky creating handmade goat milk soap and sharing the beauty of animals and nature.

Anfossi Acres is a small farm in Glasgow, Kentucky, built on faith, hard work, and a love for animals. At the heart of it all, I’m just a momma chasing her dreams and hoping to share the beauty, peace, and joy that come from life with nature and animals. We’re still growing, still learning, and only just getting started. Follow along as this dream continues to grow.

Hi everyone!

I know it's been quiet around here, so I just wanted to give you a little update.

First, I hope you've all had a great summer. Since mid-June, my phone camera hasn't been working, so capturing moments has been tricky, but more importantly, I made the choice to be fully present with my three kids this summer. This was our last summer before all three of them would be in school, and it was really important to me to make those memories.

Today my youngest, Avery, started preschool. It's bittersweet, but it also means I'll have more time to focus on my classes and on growing Anfossi Acres. I'm really excited to get back to making goat milk soap, working with our animals and sharing more of our farm life with you all. I'm also hoping to get a GoPro soon, so I can start sharing horse training sessions and rides!

I do have soap available right now, and fresh batches will be coming soon. I'd genuinely love your feedback, too. Are there scents you'd like me to try? Do you prefer the soaps with or without natural loofah? Perhaps any other ideas? Feel free to message me, or comment here on this post. Your suggestions mean a lot to me, and thank you for being here and supporting this little farm!

On my birthday, God gave me the sweetest little surprise. ❤️

I went for a drive around sunset with my camera and spotted a mama cat and two kittens dart across the road and back into the brush. Something told me to stop, and somehow I was able to catch this little guy.

If you know me, you know this is what my dreams are made of! We’ve even talked about wanting our next cat to be white. Out of all the roads, all the days, and all the possibilities, God chose my birthday to place this tiny kitten in my path.

Once he was safe at home, I went back and set a live trap with tuna in hopes of catching his mama.

Instead, we caught a very large raccoon. 😂

I’ll be continuing to search for his mama and siblings— I saw one other kitten— in the coming days, praying they’re safe and that we’re able to help them too!

For now, this little guy is warm, safe, loved, and curled up beside me. And I can’t help but thank God for such a special birthday gift. 🐾🤍

What a beautiful morning! 💕

This morning was all about Buddy and the girls. ❤️

Andi climbed on and looked completely comfortable in the saddle. She has such a natural connection with riding and seems to gain a little more confidence every time she gets on.

Avery stayed right by their side, helping lead Buddy and stepping in wherever she was needed. She’s always eager to help and never thinks twice about lending a hand!

It’s been so special seeing the girls spend time with Buddy and learn more about what their mommy loves to do. Buddy has been the perfect little pony for them, patiently teaching and making memories along the way. 🐴

POV: You give your pony a bath, braid his hair, and then drive him to your neighbor’s for a grass buffet. 😂

Today Buddy got the full spa treatment before I led him down the road beside my car and over to Squire Hill Farm.

Of course Buddy couldn’t go alone, so I went back and brought Arlo too— I was honestly really proud of him. He crossed the road, walked onto a new farm, and settled right in like he’d been doing it his whole life. Considering he isn’t even a year old yet, I was impressed!!

Big thanks to Kathleen Decker for letting the boys enjoy some extra grazing. We appreciate having such great neighbors!

Also, if you’re local and looking for a groomer you can trust, Kat owns From Nails to Tails Pet Salon right off the square in Glasgow. She’s been there for 15 years, and she and Paula do a great job. I highly recommend them!
