After some thoughtful consideration and discussion, we're thinking that when we finally have produce, eggs, baked goods, and other items available to sell in our little Bragg Homestead farmstand, we're going to list our prices for everything, but also operate under a "pay what you can" mindset.
We understand that times are tough and that not everyone can afford to buy healthy, homegrown foods. And while we certainly aren't wealthy ourselves, and we do of course hope that folks will pay the suggested prices that we post on our goods if they're able, please know that you're welcome to take what you need and pay what you can if that is your situation, because helping our community is important to us, and we're honestly out here doing what we're doing on the homestead for the love and joy of doing it, as well as to provide us a sense of purpose and meaning in our retirement years. And if we can help a few folks along the way who need it, all the better.
