A Severe Freeze lasting over 6 hours and a low of 27 degrees has killed our entire cherry crop for this year. NO CHERRIES THIS SEASON. (2026) We hope to care for our cherry trees and pay our bills and survive until next season, always looking forward to the future.

Welcome to a new season for cherry picking here at Rowand's Cherry Farm. The trees are just starting to bloom and everything looks beautiful. We are excited for this upcoming harvest in June. This year we are planting several more acres of Radiance Pearl (Rainier) sweet cherries since they are such a popular variety. We will also be planting more Bing type dark red/black sweet cherries for pollination and re-planting old dead trees to keep our orchard full of productive trees. Additionally another 20 sour pie cherry trees will be planted. Check back near the beginning of June as we update the harvest forecast and picking dates when the picking time gets very close and we know when the fruit will be ripe and ready for picking. Thank You.

Picking only in June when the fruit is ripe and available in 2026 next year. See you then.

Any Thunderstorms chase us all out of the cherry orchard.
The Cherry orchard is open rain and sunshine, but we must close for Thunderstorms and any Severe Weather Alert for safety. Lightning is no joke. Be weather aware everyday in the afternoon, the cherry orchard will close at any time without notice for weather safety. Please pay attention to your weather app and the forecast and plan accordingly.
