I’m putting my freezer beef list together for January and February processing dates at Geiss Meats. Texts were sent 10/14 and 15th to existing customers. If you are expecting a text and didn’t get one let me know and I’ll send one to you with more detail. I also have a spec sheet I can send for anyone new to this type of purchase.

I still have a few freezer beef animals left to sell in December. I did send out texts to past customers. If you didn’t get one or need more info send me a direct message on FB. The pic is a steer for December 2024. I’ll follow up with one from the group I have ready now.

As promised the new pic is of the finished steers. There is a size difference due so keep that in mind. DM me for more input and price. I also have a spec sheet I can share that explains freezer beef purchase.

I’m trying something new this year. I usually sell my open cows as hamburger but have had a few requests for steaks from that type of animal. In researching this some have shared that the steaks still have the flavor but sometimes are a bit tougher creating a need to prepare differently as opposed to just throwing them on the grill as is. The price point for this type of beef will be $2.60 vs $3.30 dressed wt. for my 18 mth old steers or heifers. I’ll have some cuts to test next week. As a reminder the above price is dressed weight so the actual price per pound out of the freezer will be about double the dressed wt. Thanks Dan Hanson

Just a quick post for the group of buyers scheduled for early February. I’ll be contacting you via text a few days after delivering your beef to Geiss Meats. Please plan to call them within 6 or7 days of my text with processing instructions. Feel free to contact me prior to your call to them if your new to that part. Typically Geiss will have past instructions on file but feel free to make changes.
