IT'S TODAY AT BOTH STORES!!!

We're releasing our latest Rare Character barrel pick TODAY, SATURDAY the 12th at both stores! ALSO - every bottle purchased gets you a raffle entry to buy a bottle of the mega-allocated Black Maple Hill 11yr! 👀🔥🙌

Our new pick is a 10yr 2 month old Kentucky Bourbon (distilled June 2016) with a 60/36/4 mashbill and it's a phenomenal pour! It clocks in at 111.72 proof and it's even better than we remembered! This is the PERFECT proof point for this bourbon, showcasing it's rich complexity and depth of flavor without the heat getting in the way 🤤

👃A nose reminiscent of a fresh lemon 🍋 sugar cookie, butterscotch, dusty peanut brittle, bruleed sugar

👅 Lots of brown sugar, blueberry/raspberry compote, spicy cherry jam 🍒 balanced with expensive tanned leather and toasty oak. It's viscous, and there's a sublime note of chocolate dipped pickle (yes really, and it is amazing!)

🏁 The finish is a longggg hot honey dream. Lots of caramelized/toasty oak, nice long finish 🥵

⌛Afterglass - sweet chalky candy from when we were kids, strawberry scratch and sniff, hint of dill. Thoroughly entrancing!

We'll be releasing TODAY (Saturday) at BOTH stores when we open at 10am! This was a bit of a short barrel (just 130 bottles), so come on down and grab a bottle before they disappear! And get a fun raffle entry to boot! 🙌

Well looky what we have here! 👀

Releasing today at Glen Ellyn we have the brand new Black Maple Hill Red Label, a simply delicious blended whiskey courtesy of the whiskey wizards at Rare Character! They've been working on reviving this classic brand and are killing it!

This selection is curated by carefully blending with top tier barrels, resulting in a whiskey that is layered with richness and nuance, shaped by oak influence and blending expertise. 

We had a chance to preview this a month or two ago and it stands up to the legend of the brand and is also an absolute STEAL at 69.99 a bottle!

We are extremely excited to announce we're releasing our latest Rare Character barrel pick THIS SATURDAY at both stores!

🥃HEAVEN HILL DOUBLE MASH 9yr ~ We LOVE this bottle! 2 parts of the Heaven Hill traditional bourbon mashbill with 1 part of their Wheated mashbill. Blended at 7 years old and aged for another 2 years to create this delicious whiskey! So rich and complex, we are blown away!

🥃Blade & Bow 12yr Solera Bourbon ~ we got a little back in after our cases DISAPPEARED at last week's Masterclass! This will be it until next year (if they do it again 🙏🙏🙏)

🥃Bulleit 87 Whiskey ~ This was a standout at last week's Bulleit, Blade & Bow and Dickel Masterclass. It's a combination of Bulleit Bourbon and Rye and then finished with toasted staves. A GREAT nose of bubblegum and exceptionally drinkable - warm caramel, toasted wood, brown sugar. It's an absolute steal at 32.99!

🥃Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye ~ One of our top favorite ryes is back! Just got a little hit in so probably will fly out pretty quickly. This is an always dependable fantastic pour 🔥

🥃Paladar Malloy's Reposado Pick ~ We just got some more in stock of our incredible Reposado Pick! Caranel-coated agave, spicy cinnamon, mango and vanilla bean. Mouthwatering 🤤

🥃Basil Hayden Cognac Finish ~ Classic Basil Hayden aged in French Cognac cask that held cognac for 20-25 years. This enriches and complements Bail's classic subtle sounds, vanilla and oak with dried fruit and rich caramel!

🥃John J Bowman Single Barrel ~ it's back!....for now! This is a bottle that should be on everyone's back bar! Speaking of Bowman, keep your eyes peeled for a delicious barrel pick dropping SOON!
