May is already off to a great start here at 2K Cattle — and it’s Beef Month, which means we get even more opportunities to promote the product we’re passionate about all month long!
We’re slowly but surely getting cows turned out to grass, and one of the highlights of spring every year is hosting the Southwest Tech livestock proficiency students for a tour of the farm, The Meat Schoppe, and Madison Street Steakhouse & Grill in Lancaster. We truly enjoy showing them how every part of the process works together, getting to know the students, answering their questions, and helping however we can.
It’s always a great time visiting with these young people and hearing about what’s next for them — especially knowing many of them will continue on in the agricultural industry. Another great group of students this year!
