If you're like me you jumped on the most recent beautiful days to plant those tomatoes and peppers! With temps being what they are this weekend, you're going to want to cover them up. Sheets or tarps work best. At night cover them and then during the day, with the tarp, uncover them so they get some warmth and water. The sheets can stay in place. Today I'm working on building a cold frame on my raised beds. What have you planted thus far?

Our sweet baby turkeys are so happy in their new home. One of the trail mix crew laid an egg too!!! Yay!

I finally got a good pic of our new turkeys! Usually they are surrounding me and I can never get them all in 1 photo.

Tommy is on the right and Raisin is the hen with the lightest chest (center-right). The other 2 hems didn't have names when they moved to our farm, so I decided on names for them. Peanut is on the left and Emmie (short for M&M) is in the center-left.

Their band name is Tommy and the Trail Mix....

Don't believe everything you see on the internet!

Friends... this is another example of "not everything you read on the internet is true".

Another article I read suggested these dark eggs may be amphibian eggs/ovaries that a predator regurgitated after eating the amphibian.
