The Last Supper! We will have whole chickens, leg quarters, breasts, and wings tomorrow! These can be purchased through The Farmacy on the River or in bulk through messaging us on our Farm page!

These chickens have been rotated on fresh pasture daily, fed a no corn and no soy supplemental feed, and never had antibiotics!
Say yes to farm fresh, locally raised food!!

Chicks are here and snuggled up in the brooder! They will stay inside for the next few weeks while they grow some feathers and can handle the potential cold that Texas weather might throw at us and then they will be put out in the field! Pasture raised chicken will be available in 8 weeks and available through The Farmacy on the River co-op! 🐓🚜

2024 is almost here! Here is an opportunity to start the year off with healthier local raised food!
We have 1/2 and whole pasture raised pork packages available at the end of January! From our farm to your family, our animals are raised with organic practices, never any hormones or antibiotics, raised rotating on pasture and supplemented with a locally milled grain ration.

New face on the farm!! Meet Waffles!! Waffles is a 3 week old jersey/guernsey A2/A2 heifer! She will be nursing off miss Buttercup to help us out with chores and raised to be our second family milk cow!
Have we officially lost it?? Maybe! But look at that sweet face!

These sweet babies are almost a month old and are so fun to watch play in the water, roll in the mud, and are especially adorable when they get the zoomies!

Today we moved pigs to a new location! They have been living in the garden area cleaning up our spring/summer crops and tilling the ground! Now they are back out on pasture and will be moved every 2-3 days to keep them on clean ground and help us clean up areas of our pasture that we can not reach with the tractor.

Can you spot our big girl Oreo? She lost her sweet babies in July due to heat stress and we were all sad but really thankful she pulled through. She has been bred back to our boar and we are anticipating babies in a few months!

Exciting day on the farm! Not only did we have our monthly co-op deliveries to Clifton, Cleburne, and Burleson, but we got our first fall batch of Cornish Rock meat birds in the mail! Weirdest thing ever is picking up a package of live animals from the post office! 🐥

Did you know that baby chicks can survive 2-3 days after they are born without food or water? Crazy, huh!? Apparently they swallow their yolk sack and that provides nutrients and water for several days!! It also means they arrive sometimes super weak once they get to the farm.

Wanna know our secret to healthy baby chicks? 9.5 Kangen water!! Even the chickens around here are water snobs!

We are also so thankful for the 4 inches of rain that dumped on our parched ground this morning! 🙏
