And hit the follow button I would greatly appreciate it.
To the residents of Gallatin County, my fellow citizens, friends, and family, after much contemplation and prayer, and considering the numerous calls from many of you, as well as the encouragement from my wife, I feel blessed to be running for the position of Gallatin County Judge Executive. Thirty years ago, I was approached to run for Warsaw City Council, but at that time, as a young man, it was not the right opportunity for me. I have never been a politician, but rather a 57-year-old successful businessman and owner who has learned valuable life lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. I possess common sense, negotiation skills, and the ability to bring people together, as well as the capacity to initiate and complete projects of all sizes within established timelines, ensuring open communication with all stakeholders. As our county faces various challenges in the years to come, it will require a County Judge Executive with business acumen, common sense, and negotiation skills. My love for my hometown and community is unwavering, which is why, four years ago, I was asked to revive the fairgrounds and fair. After our fair being on an eight-year hiatus, I accepted the challenge and assembled a dedicated group of volunteers who share my passion for this community and its youth. Together, with the support of local businesses, grants, and the community, we have successfully restored the fairgrounds and fair. I firmly believe in term limits and will continue to give back to the community in various ways, as my wife Connie and I have done for many years. I have been married to my wonderful wife Connie Davis for 14 years, and together, we have four amazing children and 11 grandchildren. Our daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters reside in our county. I humbly request your support in granting me the opportunity to serve as your next Gallatin County Judge Executive. I promise to prioritize the best interests of all citizens and work collaboratively with the Fiscal Court. I will strengthen our commitment to providing the best opportunities for our youth and focus on the well-being of our seniors and veterans, who have made our community thrive. There are numerous unaddressed issues that require attention such as funding for emergency services, and as Judge Executive, it is my responsibility to bring all magistrates together to find the best solutions for the residents of Gallatin County. As a leader, it is essential to negotiate and find solutions rather than simply voting no without providing alternatives. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with Marshall Auto Group for over 25 years, where Mr. Rob Marshall has been my mentor in business. As Operations Director, I face various challenges daily. I am a cattle farmer and I sit on the Jefferson Community and Technical College advisory board and I have served on Gateway Community and Technical College advisory board, and Toyota Motor Companies MAG group. I have received the highest honor from Toyota motor company for business excellence for 10 years. Currently, I serve as the President of the Gallatin County Fairboard, a position I have held since 2022. I am also a member of the Gallatin County Chamber of Commerce and a member of K.A.D.A Kentucky Auto Dealers Association, It was an honor to be approached to find and to negotiate with the owner of the company that installed the new sports complex at the high school. I am confident that my experience, skills, and passion for this community make me an ideal candidate for Gallatin County.
Thank You
