The girls have been busy paying their rent today!

Today’s collection is looking pretty good, but I’m still waiting for ALL these freeloaders to start contributing!

Apparently, room and board, unlimited snacks, and daily housekeeping aren’t enough!

Now tell me, how many eggs are your girls giving you each day?

And how many chickens are still living rent free?

Chicken math has officially taken over.

We’ve got our main flock, grow outs, breeding groups, Silkies, and more. We keep moving things around as everyone grows and our plans change.

It’s still a work in progress, but this is what the setup looks like right now.

Now I want to hear from you.

Which coop or pen would you claim for your favorite chickens?

And if this were your setup, what would you add or change next?

I’m always looking for ideas because apparently I’m never done building chicken pens.

Bari Farms - Flock Forensics asked us to explain the name “Imitation Blue Cheese,” so here we go.

First there was Cheese, my daughter’s chicken.

Then we got another hen, and my husband said, “That’s what Cheese is going to look like when she grows up.”😂

So naturally, she became Imitation Cheese.

Then Imitation Cheese met Mr. Blue Buckbeak.

Mr. Blue + Imitation Cheese = Imitation Blue Cheese.

And now we have this little chick.

The final piece of the mystery? We’re waiting on DNA results to find out if Imitation Blue Cheese is a boy or a girl!

Our Hollyoaks Fluffy Butt Hut baby is growing up, and apparently, she knows she's GORGEOUS! 1/7 girls!!❤️
Installed a new mirror in the coop, and she immediately stopped to admire herself. Girl, we see you!
Is she admiring her reflection or wondering who the new chick is?
Does anyone else have chickens who love mirrors?

Installed a mirror in the chicken coop, immediately had to check herself out!
“Wait a minute… WHO is that gorgeous chicken?!”
Apparently, we have a new beauty queen at Rusty Ridge Retreat!
Does anyone else have chickens obsessed with their reflections?
