Mr. Romeo got his spa treatment today. I'm so incredibly happy to have this guy here. He's such a sweet, mellow boy.

Romeo's pedigree is a complete outcross to anything in our herd or anything I'm seeing being used in my area. Its packed with some super old genetics, with the most exciting being a Lothario grandson.

Pedigree, plus how correct this guy is in the areas that i'm hoping to improve in my does will mean this guys looking to get lots of attention this fall.😉

Rich Girl is not only my favorite yearling but my highest appraising yearling to date. She needs maturity however she has all the right components I wanna see. She excels in strength and dairyness. She stands on excellent legs qnd good feet. We love her mammary however would like to see her teats a little less plump, however the placement is very nice. She is currently milking 12 # and still putting weight on. Definitely an easy keeper and I love that.

I would love to AI her again this Fall and have some ideas on which bucks I'd like to use however nothing set in stone. Stay turned!

Prefect day to take Event out and trim his feet and take some of that winter coat off. Event is only a yearling and yet he's so big I couldn't reach over him to help place his feet. Plus he thought that meant flirting time.🤣 So this is gonna be his best photo. Still stylish.

Both Event's sisters were appraised this week and scored very well. Just like Event, they are very strong, deep body does that excel is dairy strength. Both sisters freshened with incredibly beautiful udders. Very well attached with that high wide rear arch that we just love seeing on the toggs.

Unfortunately, we didn't get many Event doe kids this year, but the two we got are very exciting. He added width, strength, dairyness and definitely improved the front legs and tighten the shoulders in both daughters.

Appraisals were this week. We brought out a small amount of our 2yo's and yearlings. I was not expecting our scores to go the way they did and I'm over the moon excited on how well they did. I will start posting their score as I take pictures of them. Featured is REBEL CREEK RANGER OREO 1*M.

This guy stands out from the others. His length and levelness just makes him that much more striking. We love seeing the improvement of this breeding result and are so bummed there wasn't a doe for us to keep.
