We did it. In Good Company happened, and it was everything we hoped it would be. 💥

Over 50 people showed up to Padmore's the night before Coffee Fest—some to compete, some to spectate, and most to learn how to play dominoes for the first time. Even while running around to make sure everything moved smoothly, watching tables full of players learning and connecting was one of the best parts of the night.

Most of the feedback was about how fun, relaxing, and great the vibes were; so much so, y'all are asking us when we're doing it again! We promise to come back to play in New York soon!

But it got us thinking... should we run this for World of Coffee: San Diego? 👁️👄👁️ Let us know!

In Good Company: A Dominoes Tournament presented by Ghost Town Oats & Padmore’s 💥

The New York coffee community is competitive by nature, but respectfully, we weren’t trying to plan another latte art throwdown. Instead, we opted for something that invited people to show up as their full selves—not just as coffee professionals—and still keep all the smoke. 🥊

So we’re running a dominoes tournament at .nyc the night before NY starts.

🎲 12 teams of 2. Elimination style. First 4 teams to sign up skip Round 1. Winners take home a custom GTO domino set + prize bag. 🏆 Event starts at 7:30, tournament starts at 8PM sharp—show up early if you want that bye.

Not competing? Come watch, talk your s**t from the sidelines, or learn how to play/play casually at the beginners table. Either way, you’re leaving with a full spirit and new connections. 🤝🏾

We’ll have complimentary signature drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic!) with a Caribbean twist featuring , , , and + is going to keep the energy up with their delicious protein oatmeal bites. Thank you to each one of our partners for helping us bring this experience to life!

2025 was a really amazing year for us. I’m having a moment where I wish I realized just how incredible things were going in the moment because looking back, all I see is success in the form of connection in spite of the not-so-joyful things happening behind the scenes.

While I personally celebrate the beginning of spring as the new year, the intention I’m setting for myself in Ghost Town in 2026 is to be in the moment. We can only plan for so much, and things will still go wrong. Even if the measured KPI fails, find success somewhere in the silver lining.

It’ll make this life feel more fulfilling.
