Throwing it back to Fan Fusion and one of our biggest events yet. πŸ‘€ Phoenix Fan Fusion Aventura Catering

From hand-peeling 100 pounds of taro and 60 pounds of ube, to brewing hundreds of gallons of tea and, yes, making 700 pounds of boba. There’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes before we ever hand you your drink.

Big events like this remind us just how much goes into every cup and how grateful we are for the people who make it possible and the community that shows up to enjoy them. πŸ’›

We get this question all the time. πŸ’œ

It’s because we use real taro and real ube - not powders or artificial coloring. The natural ingredients create a softer color, but all the flavor.

One of our favorite parts of Fan Fusion was seeing everyone’s creativity come to life😍 and hearing exactly what drink they thought their character would order from OuroπŸ‘€

A huge thank you to the Fan Fusion organizers & Aventura Catering for putting together such an incredible weekend. We loved meeting so many amazing people (and characters!) and sharing our drinks with all of you.πŸ§‹

As many of you already know, we've had the amazing opportunity to contract with the Phoenix Convention Center.

Unfortunately, these events require even more logistics, operations, staffing, preperation, and planning than even goes into our usual events, which means that our other events will be put on hold while these take place.

At the end of the day, our goal of getting to a storefront still holds, and this allows us to persue that goal on a new level.

Transparency is part of the core values of Ouro as a company and a community and we want all of you that have supported us these last two years to know how much your support has meant in helping us get here. We will still do our absolute best to attend our weekly events to bring Ouro to you and communicate with our community on what we have planned.
