Hi community!
We wanted to give a quick update to a few things from the Farm for this summer/fall.
I (Katie) have to have surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from the tail end of my pancreas June 18th. It will be a lengthy recovery and a lot of adjustment for our family. We are not sure what all the recovery entails or if I have to have any chemo/radiation treatments after. We wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support from the local community. Between the kind words, offering to help with anything and everything, the meal train and much more, we are feeling so much love from y’all 🤍
We will not be doing any pumpkins this year as it is a lot of work throughout the summer that I will not be able to help with. We will resume the pumpkins in 2025!
We will still be doing meat chickens so if you have interest in those please reach out so that we can get a count on how many.
We will continue to sell the eggs & freezer beef as well, however please be patient with us for this month as there are a lot of unknowns and I will be focusing on my health so that I’m back to normal as quickly as possible.
