🫐 2025 SEASON CLOSING 🫐

Well, folks! This was a fast season. The heat brought the berries on rapidly and we had some heavy pickings and busy busy days! Thank you 🙏 to everyone who came out to enjoy! Today and tomorrow (Saturday + Sunday) if anyone local wants to wander the fields and see what they can come up with- they’re free to. But I would NOT suggest making a far drive for this! I’m starting to pull down the signs and prepare for the official closing of the season after this weekend.

Please continue to shop small, support local farmers + enjoy this beautiful hot summer! ☀️

🫐 Season Update 🫐
Because we’ve been very busy, the “easy” pickings are gone. But the berries are still here.. just gotta go up high, down low, and in the middle of the bushes! We also have a round of green berries waiting to ripen. So we still very much invite you to come and enjoy what we would call “patient” picking! We just encourage some good footwear, a hat, and hydration! ☀️💧

Reminder- we take cash, check or offer a 50/50 split. Our certified organic berries are $3.99/lb. And we provide harnesses and buckets for easy hands free picking! Including child sized 🤍

It has been a VERY busy opening week! And we expect Loudonville + The Mohican River to be crazy this weekend. So please be kind and patient with us as we best serve you 🩵💙
I am still rehabbing my shoulder from surgery and moving a bit slower for certain tasks. But the show must go on! 🫐 Thank you to everyone who has been so helpful and understanding.

🫐 2025 SEASON UPDATE 🫐
STILL GROWING!

We’ve started receiving some messages and inquiries on the opening for this 2025 season! As always with our certified organic blueberries, we wait on Mother Nature! 🌱

The bees have done their job. There are berries forming on the bushes. It’s now up to the sun and rain to bring them to fullness. There is no definitive time that we can say for opening yet. As the days go by we will be able to get more specific. Typical timeline for us however is usually beginning of July!

It is with much gratitude that we must say- we are all picked out for the 2024 season!

We appreciate everyone who came, and we apologize to those who couldn’t make it. With farming (especially organically!) it’s just part of the madness and beauty of things that we never know how each season will shake out! THANK YOU for supporting our small farm 💙
We encourage you to please keep supporting all the other amazing local folks who work tirelessly to provide us with so many other crops! 🙏

There are indeed some berries left but a reminder as our last post said- it will take much more time to make your way thru the bushes and find the ripe ones! The combo of rain + heat this week should bring us the final round of ripening for those green guys. If you aren’t in a rush, don’t mind the walking, and aren’t expecting to yield TONS, we certainly still invite you to come out to our organic family farm 🤍

🗣️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: 😱

Well, folks. Yesterday was QUITE the day. We were busy with heavy pickers! While we do have *some* berries left, we want to be transparent and set expectations by letting you know that it would definitely take more effort to get ‘em! Walking further out, paying closer attention to the bushes, and not yielding a whole bucket by any means. If you are local to us, it *may* still be worth it to you for the fun of scouring! Especially in another day or two once our currently green berries finish ripening. But we don’t want people from far away coming in to be disappointed 🥲

As usual with blueberry season and Mother Nature in general- we’re sorry we didn’t know what to expect ahead of time! This was an early to come, quick to go season. We will keep you updated to let y’all know when it’s officially a wrap this week for the 2024 season 🤍
