Walnut huller tour time!

10/07/2026

The morning activity during walnut harvest is an orchestra of cleaning and greasing equipment, fueling up, mentally preparing for long days, and most importantly, communicating about the daily game plans.

We are grateful to have a crew of skilled machine operators and harvest managers to keep us moving and shaking through all seasons, especially harvest season. 💪 🌳

Always mesmerized by the rice harvester. 🌾 🚜

The walnut huller crew is dialed in! It takes focused coordination, communication, and teamwork to stay on top of running a busy huller. We appreciate the care that is put into each load that arrives. Happy harvest! 🌳 🙌🏻

“Being a walnut grower for 31 years has been a great joy for our family. As an accomplished grower in California, we have been able to produce high-quality walnuts and provide to our customers for decades. Carriere has always made us feel like a valued partner, in spite of our smaller grower status, providing consistent grower communication. They have always treated us with respect, dignity, and professionalism that is second to none in the walnut industry.”

— Tim Wright
Carriere Family Farms walnut grower

Relationships with our growers aren’t measured by the size of an orchard but instead, they are built on trust, communication, and mutual respect.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tim & Jill Wright for sharing these words and for trusting Carriere Family Farms as a partner over the past four years.

For us, being a good partner means showing up, keeping the lines of communication open and making sure every grower knows they’re an important part of what we do.

Here’s to many more harvests together. Thank you for your partnership! We appreciate you.

Remembering the lives lost, the heroes who stepped up in our darkest hour, and the families who still carry the weight 25 years later. We pause today to honor and reflect.
