We’re being inundated with new life on the farm! Lots of brown calves with floppy ears.

We’re confident that we have the market cornered on Gyr x Jersey calves in the northern hemisphere. This must be what it feels like to be a monopoly.

Spring has sprung and we are happy to welcome these new faces onto the farm. Jojo, Molly, Simba, and Nelly are all proud moms.

This is Little Brown, a Brown Swiss cow from the neighbor. After many accidental breedings by the angus bull. We have finally been graced with this heifer calf by the Gyr bull, Ferdinand.

This Gyr x Brown Swiss cross is sometimes referred to as a Suizbu.

We are stoked to have this beautiful calf raised by one of our most exceptional moms.

Join us March 7th in Bruneau, Idaho for an education in soil health and biological agronomy.

Dr. Andersen began his professional life as a consultant in the field of Agricultural Nutrition, working to improve soil and crops through the understanding that weeds, diseases and insect pests were directly correlated to nutritional deficiencies and imbalances in the soils and crops. He was motivated by the desire to help people and make a difference, and after ten years in agriculture he decided he could help even more people by practicing medicine. In the course of his agricultural work, Dr. Andersen has met many farmers suffering from various disorders from infertility to cancer as a result of pesticide exposure and poor diets. This experience inspired him to take a holistic approach to medicine that included nutritional medicine and making the connection between the farm and how food is grown and consumer health.

We hope to see you there!

We are proud to introduce our newest joy on the farm!

Royal White Hair Sheep.

These seven ewes will be the foundation of our flock. Small ruminants offer many advantages for landscape stewardship along with additional revenue streams for our farm.

We look forward to the positive impact these sheep will have on our lives and the land.

This May 11th we will be hosting our second farm tour and dinner!

Wild Asparagus season is an abundant and fleeting time of year. Foraging asparagus is the first harvest of the year. We do not cultivate it we only revere and enjoy it. A truly special gift from nature.

We invite you to join us for this special time of year to enjoy this incredible springtime delight.

Our tour and dinner is open to 40 guests to come witness spring and search for wild asparagus on the farm.

Our tour will span a wide variety of topics from agriculture, food systems, wildlife, ecology, raw milk, livestock, grazing, water, and natural resources.

If you are interested in knowing your food, the farmers, and the land this event is for you.

The meal will be prepared by Antonin Filicetti using locally sourced wild and cultivated ingredients. If you have not had a meal prepared by Chef Antonin then you will not want to miss this event!
