We are extending our medicinal herb line. Come by and check it out. And while we are very, very sorry that has closed its doors, we’ve adopted their gorgeous apothecary bottles, and they live on here at the Mercantile.

Keep your eyes open: we will be letting you know when has its annual inspection; we are adding all of our farm-grown medicinal herbs to our organic certification this year, so we will be selling them here in the shop. Organic, hyper-local medicinal herbs at your fingertips, from ashwagandha root to yarrow leaf.

You’re not crazy, you might just be in perimenopause. Everybody knows the big symptoms of perimenopause: hot flashes, night sweats, so sometimes the more mild symptoms are not associated with fluctuations in hormones. Join us for our next class on May 9, taught by Carin Howard, a functional medicine practitioner. She will define perimenopause and talk about ways that we can understand the changes occurring in our bodies.
