will bring nationally known speakers and vendors together in Monroeville PA for one of the best beekeeping seminars in Pennsylvania. This seminar is designed for experienced beekeepers.

The seminar will be Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Gateway Senior High School in Monroeville.

We are bringing in the honey harvested Country Barn Farm this week! This frame of honey appears to have three distinct types of honey in the comb. Honeybees exhibit a behavior called flower constancy which means they visit one type of flower when they leave the hive to allow for cross pollination and as a result of this behavior tend to store honey in sequentially within the hive. In this particular frame you can see three different colors of wildflower honey stored in the comb.

These gloves have harvested tons of honey over the last 20 years, this will be the last season I use them. The the finger tips have finally worn out, but I should be able to get a few more days out of them! The 2022 honey harvest is still in full swing!
