Fresh from The Farm to our neighbors 🌱 We recently donated produce grown right here at Historic Wagner Farm to the Northfield Township Food Pantry. We're grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and give back to the community!

We only have three more Saturdays of the Farmer’s Market! Our last day is October 24th, so stop by the farm Saturdays from 8a.m. - 12p.m. to help us say goodbye to the season all while enjoying some delicious produce, cheese, meat, and sweet treats while you are here.

This week, our staff and friends have been grieving the passing of Todd Price, Farm Foundation's Vice President of Operations and the first director of Historic Wagner Farm.

From 2001 through 2018, Todd was an iconic presence with Glenview Park District and led Historic Wagner Farm through its initial development. His legacy includes establishing the Glenview Clovers 4-H Club and building a strategic partnership with the Cook County Farm Bureau.

Todd's drive and community focus brought people together, promoted responsible agricultural stewardship and shaped the Farm into a historic and educational jewel of the North Shore community.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones, colleagues, friends and community. The family invites those who wish to honor Todd to share a message on his obituary tribute wall, or to attend the open service tomorrow at 11:30am at the Farm Foundation Innovation and Education Campus.

Tomorrow is our last day of the CSA season! It was a great summer with full baskets and gorgeous produce. We are so proud of our team for the labor of love, but the work isn’t over quite yet. We still have to clear the fields, plant our winter cover crop, and start working on the layout for next season.

We’re celebrating the accomplishments of two important team members at The Farm!

Farm Manager Blake Lanphier was recently awarded the 2026 Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leader Excellence in Agriculture Award for his hard work at Wagner Farm and his leadership of the Glenview Clovers.

Additionally, Lindsey Bycraft, Glenview Clover, produce intern and Champion Master Showman at the Lake County Fair was selected to be Master Stockman at the Fair and is the first Glenview Clover to ever compete in Master Showmanship at the Illinois State Fair.

Congrats to Blake and Lindsey. We are so proud of both of you and we can’t wait to see what the next year holds!
