Firefly Farm PA

Firefly Farm PA Firefly Farm is a small 20 acre family farm in southern Pennsylvania. We raise Jacob sheep, a small, rare breed of sheep.

We believe in using sustainable agriculture practices on our farm. Sustainable agriculture is a method of farming that produces food & fiber without depleting the world’s resources or polluting the environment. The hardiness of Jacob sheep allows us to pursue these ideals. Jacob sheep are known for their black and white fleeces and two, four, or six horns. Their wool is medium grade and is treasur

ed by hand spinners and weavers. Their fleeces are fun to work with because the white and black wool can be blended to various shades of gray. We also have a variety of other critters on the farm. We have a small laying flock of heritage breed chickens including Delawares, Araucanas, Egyptian Fayoumis, Buff Orpingtons and a variety of bantams. Other critters include a laying flock of rabbits and guinea keets. Overseeing all our animals is Clipper the horse and Jack the border collie.
