I guess I've started a "this is" meme. Maybe we'll do trading cards or crypto. What ideas do you have for this series? Remember to leave your plants up for winter which provides a lotta ecosystem services such as: habitat, food, living snow fence, reduced urban flooding on frozen soils (dead stems hold on to moisture).

2025 is looking to fill your life with abundance, especially in your garden.🥦

🍅One of my favorite things about the new year are the new seed catalogs. And this year is nooo different.

I have spent the holidays under the weather but I have to say this afternoon when the new catalog came out, I magically perked up.

🥬Osuna Gardens will starts sowing salad greens seeds soon, so get your patio's ready.

🫛And who's ready for pea season..mmmmm.🫛

It was a Weeding Wednesday at Osuna Gardens.

Until I found myself squatting over an underground beehive. I was stung so quickly I knew I was in the Danger Zone, so I ran to the house like a cartoon bee swarm was chasing after me.

I have topical allergic reactions, so I am nursing my swelling leg and arm and will hopefully see relief by the weekend.

That caught me off guard for sure. But, I will work around them now knowing. Sheesh!
