At 3 days fresh I had to milk Twin Pears Sweet Tea to help relieve some pressure, as her two remaining kids (she had quads but two went as bottle babies) could not keep up with her production. I came nowhere near milking her out completely and this is what I got! That is a half gallon jar. 😶

Her dam, Twin Pears Sweet Tea was milking almost 9lbs a day during her peak this spring as a 2F! She has beautiful capacity and depth.
Her sire, TUA Farms GP Moonage Daydream *B puts beautiful width on his daughters and has improved attachments.
“Sweetie” has such potential and I would love to see her go to a herd that can foster and grow her into the productive doe I know she can be.

Martha, Fawn, Irish and Sweet Tea all contributed to this during fair week!

Thanks to the people showing milk goats at the Douglas County Fair, we have enough milk for next year's fawns. Reston Ridge Nubians gave us an extraordinary amount. In all, we collected 105 gallons, which is used as a base, fortified with special ingredients, so it is equivalent nutritionally deer milk.

Oak Apple Martha took 2nd 🥈 place Best Udder
Oak Apple Lilly Fawn and Ridge Top Irish Lily took 1st place🥇 Dam and Daughter!
My daughter did most of the showing today and she was overjoyed to take home a small stack of ribbons.
