First real test for all the new wiring and hydraulic side support build. Funky shaped hard maple I've had laying around. It got caught on the lifting arm at the beginning so made it fun to get loaded. Everything worked as it should so I'm excited about having hydraulic side supports now to go with the chain Turner.

Sometimes you are the windshield and sometimes the bug. When you decide to fafo the Metal leathe didn't like making new threads on a grade 8 - 1" bolt. New gears ordered.

The lt40 project turned into an lt50 build. Hydraulic side supports are working correctly, still have final adjustments and welding to do but they work finally.

Got alot of the hydraulic side supports welded up and bolted down. The pin in the bottom of the side support itself is a little small so the side support rotates slightly as it come up but once the right size pin is in there that will go away. Got the small supports temp connected as well and they fit good. Now to mount the back ones and get the connector rod made up.

Threw a cherry log on the mill today. Has a lot of wind shake but pretty stuff.

Everything is finally done on the wiring. That was fun 😁. Tested everything out on 2 old pine logs I had that I was about to get a 6x6 out of 1 and a 4x4 out of the other (was a 6x6 in the 1 video before i cleaned up the rotten corner). Milled a old walnut log as well. Pleasant surprise on how that looked inside. Now to finish the hydraulic side supports.
