🍂 Fall is the BEST time to stock your pond! 🍂

Want healthier fish with less hassle? Meet the Redear Sunfish (shellcracker) — nature's snail control. They eat the snails that carry fish parasites, so your whole pond stays healthier.

👉 Stocking rate: about 100 per surface acre for established ponds

Laggis' Fish Farm is taking fall orders NOW — Cool & Warm Water Fish Specialists since 1979, right here in Gobles, MI.

Day one of many to come sorting fish. 🐟

We had no idea Dad had dementia—he was (and still is) incredibly smart. But as I’ve taken over more of the day-to-day operation of the fish farm, I’m discovering a few surprises along the way. 😂

Ponds that used to be carefully organized by species have apparently turned into little fish communities of their own. Bluegill, green sunfish, bass, perch… everybody decided to move in together. 🤦‍♀️

Not the end of the world, but it definitely makes my job a little harder!

So now we sort, identify, reorganize, and learn as we go. This is just one part of bringing Laggis’ Fish Farm into its next chapter. ❤️🐟

Follow along—there’s going to be a LOT more behind-the-scenes fish farm life coming.
