Pan Seared Halibut with Sweet Chili–Strawberry Glaze and Pistachio Dust

If you bought halibut this weekend and are wondering how to prepare it, we've got you! Here's a beautiful recipe that tastes and sounds fancy but is really easy to make.

You can serve it with the sautéed grape, roasted summer squash, and arugula salad in the photo, or keep it simple with your favorite vegetable side.

Our wild-caught Alaskan queen crab is a real treat! It's sweeter and more delicate than king crab AND it's shell is easier to remove. Just grab some kitchen shears. Use the meat on salads, in stews, or just melt yourself some butter.

Reasons not to miss our Alaskan queen crab and spot prawns:

🦀 Queen crab has a subtly sweet flavor and light, flaky, "snow-white" texture. It's less dense than King crab and easier to peel. It pairs beautifully with drawn butter, citrus, or light sauces.

🍤 Spot prawns have a clean, slightly sweet flavor and firm texture that holds up well during cooking. They're very versatile, but we like them best when sauteed in butter for a few minutes.

Ever notice how our seafood never has that heavy, "fishy" taste? There is a fascinating reason for that! 🌊👇

Unlike a lot of seafood on grocery shelves, finfish farming is strictly illegal in Alaska. The fish we catch swim thousands of miles in cold, pristine Pacific currents. This creates lean, firm muscle and a naturally clean flavor profile.

Even better? We handle our catch the same way we would if it was headed to our family's table. Proper care and quick processing locks in the natural sweetness and completely skips the slimy chemical preservatives (like STPP) used elsewhere.

Our wild-caught Alaskan Spot Prawns are sustainably caught, processed on board, and flash-frozen to lock in their flavor until the moment they reach your plate.

What makes them special? Read on....⬇

🔱 Spot Prawns are a meatier version of side-striped shrimp. They have a naturally sweet, clean flavor like most cold water fish, but their texture is firmer.

🍽️ Our favorite way to prepare them is to pan-fry them in butter with just a bit of salt and pepper. They're also great for the grill!

Spot prawn season is gone in a blink. Make sure to get yours this weekend.
